The President, Comrade Festus Osifo, supported by other National officers of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Association, conducted a heartening visit to pay tribute to Comrade Benjamin Adewunmi, a highly esteemed former President of the Association. The visit occurred at his residence in Abule Egba, Lagos, where they presented him with a luxurious car on behalf of the Association's National Executive Council (NEC).

This gesture aimed to support Comrade Adewunmi following an accident that had impacted his mobility. Notably, Comrade Adewunmi, who recently celebrated his 90th birthday, is the oldest past President, and his substantial contributions have significantly influenced the growth and prosperity of our Association.

Com Benjamin Adewunmi was overwhelmed with joy and responded by thanking the Association for deeming it fit to honour him with such a kind gesture. He expressed gratitude for the recognition and said the Lord would bless and reward each member of PENGASSAN.
